The good folks from Edinburgh University and Catterick Barracks pay a visit to Laggan Forest Trust

The Laggan Forest Trust office was full to bursting today when 14 students from the University of Edinburgh paid a visit and then five soldiers from Catterick Barracks dropped in for a cuppa! The students are staying at Badaguish Outdoor Centre this week and making visits to help them learn about community forestry, for instance to The Riparian Woodlands in Kingussie and to the Aspen Project at Kincraig's Highland Wildlife Park.
The soldiers from Catterick have recently returned to this country from Afghanistan and were having a welcome break when they could blow of steam while climbing, walking and mountain biking at our very own Laggan Wolftrax.
It goes to show that, as well as our regular activities for tourists and visitors to Laggan, we can also provide food for thought for students and a great cup of tea to tired squaddies!
