Road closure 12th Oct for a week

Don't forget that if you are visiting the forest from the north, the usual route from Newtonmore to Laggan is closed for road repairs this week (12th October).
If you are coming from Kingussie or Newtonmore there will be a diversion from Newtonmore via the A9 and A889 (Dalwhinnie junction) to the A86 or if you are coming from Aviemore or the north, stay on the A9 until Dalwhinnie and then take the A889 to join the A86.
There will be no disruption if you are coming along the A86 from Fort William / Spean Bridge or from the A9 from the south.
