The cafe is shut at present, but The Forestry Commission will be inviting tenders for the new lease; any interested parties should call the FCS on 01463 791575 for further details.
In the meantime bikers and other visitors to the forest can buy food and drink from The Pottery Coffee Shop http://www.potterybunkhouse.co.uk/ round the corner on the Dalwhinnie Road (tel 01528 544231) to sit in or take away from 10.30 am (shut on Wednesdays). They can also stock up on snacks, meals and get a hot drink to take away 7 days a week from Laggan Stores http://www.lagganstores.co.uk/in the village at Laggan Bridge, two miles from Wolftrax (tel 01528 544257).
The toilets and showers are also still open; please remember to bring shampoo, soap and a towel.
