Laggan Forest Trust are delighted to announce that we have received planning permission for our new Forest Centre here at Strathmashie.
This means that we will be concentrating on moving this project forward and we are sad to say that we don't have the numbers of staff we need to run events too :-(
However, to look on the bright side, this is your forest, so feel free to come and have fun anyway! Foraging, pine-cone collecting and squirrel-spotting are all activities which take little organisation (do check those mushrooms though!) and the mountain bike trails are open as usual (a little bit muddier, but we believe bikers like that!?_
And just think, next year you'll be able to come and have a hot chocolate to warm you up after your forest adventures. or a bowl of soup in our new cafe, in front of a wood-burning stove!
